Suppose I missed my flight and I will come one day later. Will I be charged for this missed night?

Yes you will be charged for this missed night. In case you missed your flight, please inform our manager about your new arrival date. In case your flight was delayed, please inform our manager about your new arrival time and we will organize Transfer Service for you.

How do I pay for the apartment?

In order to reserve an apartment, deposit is required that equals 1 night stay. You can pay a deposit using Western Union online or via Bank Transfer. The rest of amount to be paid on arrival in cash. We take Hrivnas, Dollars, Euros, Sterling at current exchange rates.

Do you provide with a receipt concerning payment?. Do you conclude a lease contract?

After we receive a deposit, we will email you confirmation of your reserved dates and receipt of the deposit. Upon arrival when you pay the rest of the amount, we will give you a receipt with the original stamp. We can also sign a short-term contract if needed. Please inform us about your requirements beforehand.

Suppose I reserved the apartment and paid deposit but for some reasons I did not come. Is my deposit refundable?

Full deposit will be returned in case of one month cancellation notice. If you require new dates, the deposit will be valid for these dates provided 3 weeks notice being given. Deposit will be retained if less than 3 weeks notice is given.

How will I find the apartment if I didn’t order the transfer service?

You will find the address of your stay in the receipt of the deposit paid. Please inform our manager about approximate time of your arrival and our representative will be waiting for you in the flat. 

Suppose I didn't order your transfer service from the arrival point to the accommodation, how do I get from the airport?

You will easily find a taxi near airport or train station. Approximate fee is 10-20 USD. We recommmend to discuss the price with the driver in advance. There are a lot of mini-buses going from the airport or train station to the city centre.

Can I bring  pets?

Pets are permitted by some owners but you are fully responsible for the undamaged state of the apartment. Please indicate in your reservation form that you are travelling with a pet and we wll find a suitable flat for your accommodation.

What is the best area to stay in Odessa? Arcadia? Downtown?

It depends what is the purpose of your trip. If you are attracted by Odessa beaches and night life in numerous Odessa beach clubs, Arcadia - is the best choice for you.

Downtown Odessa aapartment rental - is quite small but you will find all infrastructure here. Downtown - is more secure area because its lit up with streets busy with people during day and night, you are under police supervision 24h. It will take you about 15 minutes to get to Arcadia from the city centre.

I’ve heard that the entrances to the apartments are not in a very good condition in Odessa?

Odessa city - is more than 200 years old. The majority of centre buildings is the historical heritage of Ukraine. Many of them need to be restored. You can find garbage and bad smell there. We don't deal with the rentals where the entrances are in a very bad condition.

Is Odessa a secure place for tourists?

Yes, Odessa - is a secure place for tourists. But if you leave your bag in the street, it might be stolen. Don't take expensive stuff, passport when going out to the beach. Don't take with you much cash and many credit cards, tickets. Don't open the door to the strangers.

Is it necessary to take my passport all the time I go out?

Essentail documents for tourists staying in Ukraine:

What is included in the rental fee?

Sheets, towels, toilet paper, soap, cleaning before your arrival and after your departure.

Usually bed-linen and towels are changed every 5 days for free.

If you need cleaning, ironing, washing or dry-cleaning, please call your manager. These services are not included in the rate.

Do I have to pay for the phone calls from the phone in the apartment? Can I make calls abroad or to local mobile phones?

Phone in the apartment is only for local calls. It is included in the rental fee. If you want to call abroad or to local mobile number, you'd better buy a local SIM card that is available at any street vendor. We also have mobile phone rent service.

Is there Internet in the apartments?

Most of apartments have Internet. Please check on the apartment description page.

If not, in Odessa downtown practically in all cafes and restaurants you will find WIFI zone. So you can take your laptop with you or try to connect from your apartment if there is a cafe nearby.

Can I have early check in?

The standard check in time is 13:00 - 14:00, check out time 12:00. In case the apartment is available before check in time we would accommodate you before. If you would like to have guaranteed early check in you need to pay for the night before your arrival. Late check out could be confirmed in advance only if you would pay for the next night after your departure. But in case next clients are coming late evening you’ll get late check out free of charge.

What is security deposit? Why do I have to pay it? Is it refundable?

The owner runs a risk that you can damage something in the flat. That's why security deposit is taken. It is totally refundable on the day of departure if nothing is broken or damaged. 

Is apartment rental fee charged per person?

No, it does not matter how many persons will live in the apartment

If I found any defects or shortages in the apartment? How quickly do they get fixed?

Please check everything in the lodging when first entering. If you find any problems, please inform your manager about it.  Most defects are eliminated the same day. But we cannot promise about no-urgent matters to be handled on Saturday and Sunday.

Suppose I am generally dissatisfied?

We want you to be satisfied with our service. That's why we are ready to do our best.

So if you are not happy with something, let us know asap

Suppose I don't like the flat or it is unsuitable?

The detailed description of apartments is given on the website and it is your obligation to ensure that the chosen lodging is suitable. If there is an error in the apartment description we will take responsibility for this. All the pictures are real, we do not use Photoshop or any other programs to make pictures better then they are. All the information on the web site is updated regularly to ensure you get complete and up-to-date information.

FAQ's about problems during stay in the apartment rental

What shall I do if there is no water/electricity in the lodging?

There should be water from 5am till 12pm (no water at night in case there is no extra supply water tank in the apartment). There would be no water only in cases of water services faults in the downtown area, our water services company may be carrying out some repair works during a day. If you are concerned you can call our manager and tell about this, but in most cases we can’t help. The same situation is with the electricity. If there is no electricity in the whole building, district — there might have been a fault. If there is no electricity in your apartment only please contact our manager.
